Bosch Customer Care in the UAE: How to Reach Bosch and Get Help
Bosch home appliance customer care in the UAE runs through Bosch's own website: a contact form for large appliances, a repair booking page, a phone line, a dealer and service locator, and messaging on its Gulf social media accounts. This page lists each channel as Bosch's own pages describe it, tells you what to have ready before you contact anyone, and covers what to do if the answer is slow or unsatisfactory.
We are not Bosch customer care. We are an independent Bosch appliance repair company in Dubai, with no connection to Bosch or its parent company BSH. We cover the official routes first because for many problems, especially a machine inside its warranty, they are the right place to start. The last sections explain when an independent repairer is the better choice.
At a glance
- Official contact form: Bosch UAE's "Contact for large home appliances" page, on bosch-home.com/ae
- Phone: the number Bosch lists on its UAE repair page is BSH 048030400. Check it against Bosch's site before you dial, because numbers change
- What to have ready: the model number (E-Nr), the purchase date and invoice, and a clear description of the fault
- Still in warranty: contact Bosch or the retailer first
- Out of warranty: Bosch repairs outside warranty too, and so do independent companies such as ours
Bosch customer care in the UAE: the official ways to reach Bosch
Everything in this section comes from Bosch UAE's own pages, as they read on 2 November 2026. Bosch updates them, so use the table as a map and confirm the details on the site itself.
| Channel | What Bosch's page says | Good for | Not stated on the page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact form for large appliances | A form under "Service - UAE". Required: a selection, first and last name, city and email. Optional: mobile number, model number (E-Nr) and a message | A service request or question where you want a written record | Reply times |
| Repair service page | Repairs can be booked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For major appliances, engineers visit your home. Consumer and kitchen products are repaired in Bosch workshops. Engineers repair inside and outside warranty | Booking a repair | Prices, whether original parts are used, appointment times, service areas |
| Phone | Bosch's UAE repair and washer-dryer support pages give the BSH line 048030400 | Urgent questions, or when you prefer to talk | Opening hours |
| Dealer and service locator | A locator for dealers and service shops | Finding a nearby store or shop | Which locations repair which products |
| Social media | Bosch invites messages on its Gulf Facebook and Instagram accounts, both named BoschHomeGulf | A quick question, or a nudge when a request has stalled | That these are repair channels |
| MyBosch product registration | Register an appliance with its E-Nr and purchase date | Setting up your records before a fault happens | Warranty terms |
The Bosch UAE contact page we checked lists no opening hours, no email address and no WhatsApp number. If a website claims to give you Bosch UAE's WhatsApp number or email, check it against Bosch's own contact pages before you use it. The form is the only route in the table that leaves a written record on both sides, which is valuable if there is a dispute later. And Bosch's page says engineers visit homes for major appliances, which matters when the appliance is a washing machine or an oven that you cannot carry to a shop.
Which Bosch are you looking for?
The name Bosch covers several unrelated businesses. Searching for customer care often lands on the wrong one.
- Bosch home appliances (washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, ovens, hobs, coffee machines): the subject of this page. Bosch's UAE appliance site, at bosch-home.com/ae, names BSH Home Appliances FZE in its footer.
- Bosch Professional sells power tools. It has its own UAE customer service and service-centre pages.
- Bosch automotive and aftermarket covers car parts and workshops, with its own site.
- Bosch DIY (garden and home tools) has its own UAE retailer page.
A phone number from any of the last three will not help with a dishwasher. If a result mentions drills, car batteries or "professional" service centres, you are on the wrong site.
Before you contact anyone: what to have ready
Whoever you contact, the same details speed things up. Gather them first, ideally in one message, and the first reply is more likely to be useful than a request for more information.
- The E-Nr. This is the model number on the appliance's type plate, and it is the first thing any service team asks for. Bosch's registration form asks for it as a required field.
- The FD number, if the plate shows one. It is the production date code. It is useful but less often required than the E-Nr.
- The purchase date and the invoice. Whether the appliance is in warranty depends on the date and on the retailer's invoice. Photograph the invoice now and keep the file with your appliance details.
- The fault, in your own words. Say what it does and when: "leaves water in the base after every cycle" is more useful than "not working". Include any code on the display and the point in the cycle when it appeared.
- A photo or short video of the display, the fault or the sound. Ten seconds is enough.
- What you have already tried. Say whether you cleaned a filter, reset the power or checked the tap. This saves a repeat of the same checks.
- Your address, access details and a contact number. For a home visit the team needs the building, the apartment and any approval your building management requires for technicians.
- Whether the appliance has been repaired before, and by whom.
Where to find the type plate
The type plate carries the E-Nr and FD number. Its location depends on the appliance, and the manual shows the exact place for your model. These are the usual spots:
| Appliance | Usual location of the type plate |
|---|---|
| Washing machine or washer-dryer | Inside the door opening, or on the back panel |
| Dishwasher | On the edge of the door or the inner side panel when you open it |
| Fridge or freezer | Inside the cabinet. The manual shows the exact spot |
| Oven | On the frame or edge of the door when it is open |
| Hob | Often on the underside, so check the manual or the original box |
| Coffee machine | Often on the underside or the back |
Bosch's registration page links to a short guide titled "How to find my appliance data". If your plate is hidden behind a cabinet panel, photograph the inside of the box, the manual cover or the original delivery paperwork, which often carry the same number. If you want to look up a part with it, see our Bosch spare parts guide.
When not to wait for a reply
Customer care is for faults, not emergencies. Some situations need action in the next few minutes, before anyone answers your message.
- A smell of gas near a hob or oven. Turn off the supply if you can do it safely, open windows, avoid switches and flames, leave the home and call the emergency number for your area.
- A burning smell, smoke or sparks from any appliance. Switch it off at the wall if the socket is safe to reach, and stay clear. Do not run it again until it has been checked.
- Water spreading from a washing machine or dishwasher. Close the tap or isolating valve, switch the appliance off at the wall if the floor around the socket is dry, and mop up. Water near a socket is an electrical hazard, so switch off at the board instead.
- A power trip every time the appliance starts. Leave it off. A tripping switch often means water or a fault has reached the electrics.
- A fridge-freezer that has stopped. The appliance can wait for a reply, but the food cannot. Move perishables to a working fridge or a cool box.
After the immediate problem is under control, write down what happened, with times, and photograph the scene. That record is useful for any later warranty claim or complaint.
Which route for which problem
The right first contact depends on your situation more than on the appliance.
| Your situation | First contact | Why |
|---|---|---|
| New appliance, faulty within days or weeks | The retailer, then Bosch | The retailer holds the sale record, and your invoice is fresh |
| Inside the manufacturer's warranty | Bosch (form or phone), or the retailer if its terms say so | A repair under warranty is normally arranged through the warranty provider. Check your paperwork |
| Warranty ended, you want a fixed quote | Bosch or an independent repairer | Both repair outside warranty. Compare the quote, the warranty on the repair and the arrival time |
| Urgent, and you cannot wait for a booking slot | Whoever can visit soonest | Ask each for the earliest slot in writing |
| You rent the home | Your landlord or property manager first | The landlord may have a service arrangement or may need to approve the work |
| You want to know whether it is worth repairing | Ask for a written quote from one or two companies | See the repair-or-replace guide on our service center page |
| A previous repair went wrong | The company that did the repair | Their repair warranty should cover it. Escalate if it does not |
| You bought the appliance abroad | Check with Bosch that your model is supported | Models sold in other countries can differ in voltage, plugs and part codes |
Warranty terms differ by product, seller and country, and we did not find a UAE warranty period stated on the Bosch UAE pages we checked. Your invoice and the paperwork in the box are the authority on yours.
Keep a contact log
When a request takes more than one contact, a simple log keeps you in control of it. Copy this into your notes and fill it in each time:
| Date and time | Channel | Name of person | Reference number | What was promised | Due date | Done? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 Nov, 10:15 | Contact form | Auto-reply | Ref in the email | A reply about a visit | 4 Nov | No |
Bring the log to any escalation. A complaint that says "I wrote on 2 November and was promised a reply by 4 November" is concrete, and it is difficult to dispute.
If you rent the home
Many Dubai residents live with appliances that came with the apartment. If the landlord owns the appliance, they usually hold the purchase invoice and the warranty papers, and they may need to approve the repair or pay for it. Before you contact Bosch or a repairer:
- Tell the landlord or property manager about the fault in writing, with a photo or video.
- Ask for the invoice, the warranty card or the E-Nr, if they have them. If they do not, the type plate gives you the E-Nr.
- Ask who pays, and who may authorise a visit. Landlords often want a written quote first.
- Ask building management whether technicians need an access permit, and for what hours.
- Keep the quote and the invoice. Our quotes and VAT invoices list the part and the part number, which landlords tend to ask for.
Getting the home ready for a technician
Whoever visits, a few minutes of preparation shortens the visit and lowers the chance of a second one.
- Leave the fault visible. If the display shows a code, write it down, photograph it and do not keep resetting the machine. The technician then sees the same fault you do.
- Clear the space. An integrated dishwasher or a built-in oven may need to be pulled out. Clear a path, and empty the cupboards on either side if they are in the way.
- Empty the appliance. Take food out of a faulty oven and dishes out of a dishwasher. Remove laundry from a washing machine only once the door is unlocked and the water has drained. Never force a locked door.
- Fridge-freezers: move perishables to a cool box before the visit if the fault is cooling, and leave the appliance plugged in unless you have been told otherwise.
- Tell building management. Many towers need a name, ID or permit at the desk, and set hours for work.
- Arrange parking and access. Technicians carry tools and sometimes parts. A parking space or a loading bay saves time.
- Have an adult at home, or someone with authority to approve a quote, since the technician will want an answer on the day.
- Keep the paperwork to hand. The invoice, warranty card and any earlier repair records help the technician and speed up a warranty decision.
After the visit, check that the invoice lists the work done, the part replaced, the part number and any warranty on the repair. Photograph it, and add it to your appliance file.
Customer care by appliance
Bosch UAE has its own support pages for several appliance types, covering error codes, repair information and the contact routes above. These sections give a short, safe first step for each appliance, so that your first contact starts from useful information.
Washing machines
Common faults on a Bosch washing machine are that it will not drain, will not fill, or shakes and spins badly. A blocked pump filter or a kinked hose causes many drain faults, and Bosch's own steps are to close the tap, switch off and unplug the machine, let the water cool, empty it through the small drain hose, then clean the pump cover and housing. Our washing machine guide has those steps in full, with the safety points and the codes we see most often, including E17 and E18.
When you contact Bosch, give the E-Nr, the code, the stage of the cycle when it appeared and whether the filter was clean.
Dishwashers
Water left in the base is usually a blocked filter, a kinked drain hose or a blocked pump cover. If the display shows E15, Bosch's instruction is to turn off the water supply and contact support: the leak protection has found water in the base, and the machine should not run again until the leak is found. Our dishwasher guide lists the codes, the safe checks and the typical causes.
When you contact Bosch, say whether the problem is draining, filling, heating or cleaning, and whether cloudy glasses or white film are part of the complaint, because those often come from settings and not from a fault.
Fridge-freezers
Bosch UAE has support pages for fridge and freezer problems. Before you call, check the settings and the surroundings: the temperature set on the display, the door seal closing fully, the vents inside not blocked by food, and the gap behind and beside the appliance. A fridge that is warm after a power cut may need hours to recover. Frost build-up, a running fan that does not cool, and water inside the cabinet are worth describing precisely. Do not defrost with sharp tools.
Food safety comes first: move perishables to a working fridge or a cool box while you wait.
Ovens and hobs
For an oven that will not heat, check the supply first: the breaker, the clock and any lock setting that may have been switched on by accident. For an induction hob that ignores a pan, check that the pan base is magnetic and the right size for the zone. Gas hobs and any smell of gas are a different category. If you smell gas, turn off the supply, open windows, avoid switches and flames, leave and call the emergency number for your area before anything else.
Both are mains-powered. Do not remove panels. When you contact Bosch, give the E-Nr from the door frame or the underside, and say which zone or function fails.
Dryers and washer-dryers
Bosch UAE has pages for dryer errors and for washer-dryer support, and the washer-dryer page gives the BSH line 048030400 for service. A common cause of damp results is a load larger than the drying capacity, followed by a blocked lint filter. Our washer dryer guide separates wash faults from drying faults and covers both, with loading advice from Bosch's own product figures.
When you contact Bosch, say whether the wash side, the drying side or both fail, and what load size you used.
Cooker hoods
Bosch UAE has a page on repairing a cooker hood and one for problems with hoods. Check the simple things first: the power supply, whether the filter is clogged with grease, and whether the lights or the fan fail alone. A grease filter that has not been cleaned lets grease reach the motor, so cleaning is worth doing before you call. Switch the hood off at the wall before you remove any filter, and do not remove the housing. Bosch's own pages give no causes, so our cooker hood repair page sets out what the UK, US, Singapore and Egypt pages say.
Coffee machines
Bosch UAE has pages for fully automatic coffee machine malfunctions and for the question of repair versus replacement. Before you call, run the descaling or rinse program, check that the water tank and drip tray are seated and the bean container is not empty, and check for blocked outlets. Bosch's repair page says consumer and kitchen products are repaired in Bosch workshops but does not say which appliances count, so ask whether a coffee machine has to be sent in before you pack it.
Warranty and product registration
Registering your appliance is the cheapest piece of preparation on this page, and it takes five minutes.
On Bosch UAE's MyBosch registration page, the required fields are the E-Nr and the purchase date. You then create an account or log in, and you can upload a photo of the type plate or type the appliance data by hand. The photo can be a JPG, JPEG or PNG up to 5 MB. Bosch says registration keeps you up to date on product news and offers. The page does not describe registration as a condition of warranty, so do not assume your warranty depends on it. Its value is that your model number and purchase date are in one place when you need them.
Keep these on file for every appliance:
- The invoice, as a photo and a PDF if you have one
- The warranty card or paperwork from the box
- The E-Nr and FD number
- The date of installation, and who installed it
- Any repair records
If your appliance has a fault and you think it is in warranty, do not wait. Contact the seller or Bosch with the invoice, describe the fault, and ask in writing what the warranty covers and how the repair will be arranged. If a third party has repaired the appliance, ask Bosch whether that affects the warranty terms. We are not lawyers, and we cannot read your warranty for you.
Second-hand and moved appliances
If you buy a used Bosch appliance, or bring one into the UAE, ask the seller for the invoice, the warranty paperwork and the E-Nr before you pay. Warranty terms are set by the seller and the manufacturer, and whether a warranty passes to a second owner depends on those terms. Ask Bosch, in writing, with the E-Nr and the date of the original purchase. An appliance bought abroad can differ in voltage, plugs and part codes, so confirm that Bosch supports the model here before you rely on it.
Complaints and escalation
Most requests are resolved on the first or second contact. When they are not, escalate in steps, keeping a written record at each one.
- Contact the company in writing. Use the Bosch contact form, or email or message the retailer, and state the fault, the date you bought the appliance and what you want: a repair, a replacement or a refund. Attach the invoice and a photo or video.
- Ask for a reference number and a time. If the answer is a promise to call back, ask by when, and note the date and the name of the person.
- Follow up once after the time has passed. Use the same channel and quote the reference. Bosch invites messages on its Gulf social media accounts, which gives you another channel. Do not post personal details such as your address or phone number in public comments.
- Ask for a manager or supervisor. A clear, polite request with your documents gets further than repeated short messages.
- File a consumer complaint if the business is licensed in Dubai. This is the route for purchases from Dubai retailers and services from Dubai-licensed companies.
The Dubai consumer complaint route
The details here come from a Gulf News guide updated on 3 October 2026, and the process can change, so check the official site before you file. Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) runs a consumer rights complaints platform at consumerrights.gov.ae. The guide says:
- Raise the issue with the business first, with your proof of purchase, and be willing to accept a reasonable alternative such as an exchange or a repeat of the service. File a formal complaint only if you cannot agree.
- You usually need a valid invoice from a business holding a Dubai trade licence. Businesses licensed in other emirates, and some sectors, are not covered.
- To file online, choose "Submit a Complaint", then "For Consumers". Enter your name, mobile number and email, say whether you are a resident or a tourist, enter the company name and sector, describe the problem and upload your documents.
- For help with eligibility, the DET Consumer Rights call centre is 600 545 555.
- Timeframes: an employee contacts you within two working days, the settlement is confirmed within four working days of completing the investigation, and the whole process typically takes four to 10 working days.
The platform covers licensed businesses in Dubai. A dispute with a company licensed in another emirate is outside this platform, so ask the call centre where to go.
What a good complaint contains
A complaint that states the facts and the request clearly is much easier to resolve. A message in this form works for the Bosch contact form, a retailer or a repair company:
Appliance: Bosch [washing machine / dishwasher / other], E-Nr [number], purchased on [date] from [retailer], invoice attached. Fault: [what happens, when it started, any code, what you have tried]. History: [previous contacts or repairs, with dates and reference numbers]. Request: [repair under warranty by [date] / replacement / refund of AED [amount]]. Please confirm receipt and tell me the next step and the date by which I can expect it.
Keep the tone factual. Dates, numbers and attachments carry more weight than adjectives.
Spotting wrong or fake numbers
Search results for "Bosch customer care number" include directory pages, classified ads and repair companies' pages that list numbers with no source. Some are repair companies, and the source of others is unclear. A few simple checks protect you.
- Start from Bosch's own site. Go to bosch-home.com/ae and use its contact and repair pages. A number found there is the manufacturer's own.
- Check the domain, not the headline. A page titled "Bosch Customer Care Dubai" on a domain that is not bosch-home.com is not Bosch. That includes this page.
- Be careful with the words "authorised" and "official". A company can say them without proof. Bosch's dealer and service locator shows its own network.
- Never pay a deposit by transfer to a personal account, and do not send card details by message. Ask for a written quote and a VAT invoice.
- Ask who will come, and what the inspection or call-out costs, before the visit. A reputable company states its inspection fee in advance.
- Ask to see the failed part and its part number before you approve a replacement.
If a call goes wrong, note the company name, the number and what was said, and use the complaint route above if the business is licensed in Dubai.
When an independent Bosch repair company is the better call
The longer decision guide is on our authorised vs independent repair page.
Bosch's own repair page says it repairs both inside and outside warranty, so the official route is open to every Bosch owner. There are still situations where an independent company suits you better.
- Your warranty has ended and you want a quote to compare. A fixed quote from each of two companies lets you decide on price, the warranty on the repair and the time to a visit.
- You need a visit soon. Appointment availability is not stated on Bosch's page. An independent company can tell you its earliest slot before you commit.
- You want the failed part shown and the part number on the invoice, so you can see what was replaced.
- You are a landlord or property manager and need VAT invoices and repair records for several units.
- The appliance is a model you bought abroad and want to know whether parts are available.
We offer, on a fixed-price basis, an AED 99 inspection that is deducted from the repair if you go ahead, a written quote before any work, same-day visits in most areas if you book before 4 pm, and a 90-day warranty on the repair we make. Our service center page explains how we work and how to decide between us and Bosch.
There are things we cannot do. We cannot process a manufacturer warranty claim, we cannot see Bosch's service records for your appliance, and we cannot tell you what your warranty covers. If your appliance is inside its warranty period, contact Bosch or the retailer first, and ask them how a repair by a third party would affect your terms.
If you want an independent repair, see the guides for washing machines, dishwashers and washer-dryers, or book a visit directly.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Bosch customer care number in the UAE?
Bosch's UAE repair and washer-dryer support pages list the BSH line 048030400. Confirm it on bosch-home.com/ae before you dial, because numbers change and third-party sites often list outdated ones. Bosch's contact form is the other official route.
How do I contact Bosch customer care online in the UAE?
Use the "Contact for large home appliances" form on Bosch UAE's site. It asks for your name, city and email, and optionally your phone number and the model number (E-Nr). Bosch also invites messages on its Gulf Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Does Bosch UAE have a WhatsApp number?
The Bosch UAE contact page we checked does not list one. If a site claims to give you a Bosch UAE WhatsApp number, verify it on Bosch's own pages before sending anything.
Do I need the model number to contact Bosch?
It helps a great deal and the registration form requires it. Find the E-Nr on the type plate and photograph it. Without it, give the appliance type, the brand name, the purchase date and the invoice.
Does Bosch repair appliances that are out of warranty?
Bosch UAE's repair page says its engineers repair both inside and outside warranty. It does not state prices, so ask for a quote before you agree to a visit.
Who do I call for a faulty appliance I just bought?
Contact the retailer first, with your invoice, and tell Bosch as well if the retailer asks you to. Do it in writing, state the fault and the date of purchase, and ask what they will do and by when.
How do I make a complaint about a Bosch appliance or repair in Dubai?
Write to the company first and keep a record. If you cannot agree and the business holds a Dubai trade licence, file a complaint on the DET consumer rights platform at consumerrights.gov.ae, or call 600 545 555. Check the site for current steps.
Is your company Bosch customer care?
No. We are an independent repair company with no connection to Bosch or BSH. We repair Bosch appliances in Dubai and we do not process manufacturer warranty claims.
Will a third-party repair affect my Bosch warranty?
That depends on your warranty terms, and we cannot read them for you. If the appliance is inside its warranty period, contact Bosch or the retailer first and ask how a third-party repair would affect your terms.
Is the Bosch customer care for power tools the same as for appliances?
No. Bosch Professional (power tools), Bosch automotive and Bosch DIY have their own customer service pages. For washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, ovens, hobs and coffee machines, use Bosch's home appliances site for the UAE.
Contact us for an independent repair
If you want an independent Bosch repair, tell us the model, the fault and any code on the display, and we confirm a time window by message. Prices exclude 5% VAT. This is our own booking line, not Bosch customer care.
Independent Bosch appliance repair specialists. Not affiliated with BSH.
