When a Bosch washing machine stops draining, a dishwasher flashes E15 or an oven stops heating, we send a technician to your home. They diagnose the fault, give you a fixed price in AED, and repair it during the same visit when the part is on the van. Book before 4 pm and most areas of Dubai get a visit the same day.
We are independent. We are not Bosch, we are not part of BSH Home Appliances, and we are not the manufacturer's service network. That matters most for one decision: if your appliance is still inside Bosch's own warranty, start with Bosch. For everything else, including machines out of warranty, rented flats where the landlord wants a quote today, and breakdowns on a Friday evening, this page explains what we do, what it costs and what you get in writing.
At a glance
- Inspection and written quote: AED 99, credited to the repair if you go ahead
- Repair warranty: 90 days on parts and labour for the repaired fault
- Parts: matched to your E-Nr, with the part number printed on your invoice (see our Bosch spare parts guide)
- Hours: every day, 7 am to 10 pm, by WhatsApp or online booking
- Prices exclude 5% VAT, which appears as its own line on the invoice
Bosch service center in Dubai: independent or official?
People type "Bosch service center" into Google and mean one of three things. Some want the manufacturer's authorised network because their appliance is under warranty. Some want any competent workshop that knows Bosch machines. And some simply want a technician to come to the flat this week. Those are different needs, and one page should not blur them.
The official route. Bosch's after-sales service in the UAE runs through its distributor, Homewide LLC. According to the Bosch Home UAE service page, the toll-free line is 600522553, the service desk is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm, and small appliances can be taken to the service center directly while large appliances need a booking. Check that page for current details before you call, because numbers and hours change.
The independent route. That is us. The difference is not about skill. It is about who stands behind the work and under what terms:
- We take bookings every day from 7 am to 10 pm, which covers evenings and Fridays, outside the manufacturer's desk hours listed above.
- We quote a fixed price before touching anything, so you can compare it with other quotes.
- Our repair carries our own 90-day warranty. It does not replace or extend Bosch's warranty.
- We cannot open a manufacturer warranty claim, and we cannot carry out repairs on Bosch's behalf.
For a longer look at what "authorised" means and what a warranty can require, see our authorised vs independent repair guide.
A caution about the word "official". Some repair companies advertise themselves as official, approved or certified Bosch agents, and not all of them can prove it. If a company says it is authorised, ask to see the letter or listing that shows it, and compare the name with Bosch's own service page. We say what we are so you do not have to guess.
Five questions to ask any repair company
Ask them of us, of Bosch's own service, or of anyone else you are considering.
- Can I have the price in writing before you start? A verbal "around 300" is not a quote.
- Which part will you fit, and what is its part number? An honest company can answer in one sentence and print it on the invoice.
- What does the warranty cover, and for how long, in writing? Ask whether it covers parts and labour or only parts.
- What happens if the part is not on the van? You want the lead time and the cost of the second visit before you approve anything.
- Is the company licensed to trade in Dubai? A legitimate company answers this plainly and can confirm it when you book.
Which one should you call?
Use this table. It covers the common situations and sends you to Bosch when Bosch is the better call.
| Your situation | Contact first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The appliance is inside Bosch's warranty period | Bosch's service line | A warranty repair is handled under Bosch's terms, and work done by a third party can put that cover at risk. Read your warranty card first. |
| The warranty has ended | Compare a Bosch quote with ours | The fault is the same either way. Price, speed and the repair warranty are what differ. |
| Built-in appliance in a recently handed-over flat or villa | Your developer or property manager, then us | The developer's defects period may still cover fittings. Ask in writing before you pay for a repair. |
| Rented apartment | Your landlord, with our quote attached | Your tenancy contract normally says who pays for appliance repairs. We can send the quote straight to the landlord or agent for approval. |
| Water on the floor, or a fridge that has stopped cooling, outside office hours | Us | A dead fridge cannot wait for Monday, and our booking line is open late. |
| You bought the appliance abroad or second-hand | Us | A second-hand or imported unit may not be covered by Bosch in the UAE. Send the model number first so we can check part availability. |
| You do not know whether it is in warranty | Bosch, with the serial number | Bosch can tell you the status from the plate details. If it is out, come back to us. |
The ten-minute warranty check
Before you decide, find three things:
- The rating plate. On a washing machine it sits inside the door frame or on the back panel. On a dishwasher it is on the door's edge or inside the door. On a fridge it is inside the cabinet wall. It lists the model number (the E-Nr) and the production code (the FD number).
- Your purchase invoice or delivery note. The warranty period usually counts from the purchase or installation date, not the manufacturing date.
- The warranty card or the registration email. If you registered the product, the period is written there.
Photograph the plate. Whichever way you go, the first thing any technician asks is the E-Nr.
What we repair
We repair Bosch home appliances only. Concentrating on one brand means our technicians recognise its faults quickly: a drain pump that hums but does not pump, a NoFrost fridge whose evaporator has iced over, an induction hob that beeps and shuts off. What follows covers the common faults for each appliance and their usual causes.
Bosch washing machine service center
Washing machine faults fall into six groups.
- Not draining (E18). The cause is usually a blocked pump filter or a failed drain pump. Coins, hair clips, socks and lint collect behind the small flap at the bottom front. Unplug the machine, put a shallow tray under the flap and clean the filter. That is worth trying first. If the filter is clear and the pump hums without moving water, the pump or its impeller is the problem.
- Not filling with water (E17). Check that the tap is open and the inlet hose is not kinked. A clogged inlet filter, common in Dubai where limescale builds up quickly, or a faulty inlet valve is the next suspect.
- Not heating (E19). Bosch's pages say heating time exceeded and give no cause; its UK and Singapore pages name the heating element for a machine that is not heating. A technician tests the element and the temperature sensor (see our E19 guide). Cold washes still run, so the fault often goes unnoticed until a hot cycle fails to heat.
- Leaking. A split door seal and a loose or cracked hose account for most leaks. If the water comes from under the machine, stop using it. Water reaching the electronics can turn a seal replacement into a control-board repair that costs several times more.
- Loud noise or a drum that will not spin (F21 and related codes). On older models with a brushed motor, worn carbon brushes are a common cause. Newer EcoSilence Drive models use a brushless motor, so the suspects there are the motor wiring, the control module, a failing bearing or broken shock absorbers. A rumbling that gets louder in the spin cycle points to the bearings.
- Door will not open. The lock actuator has failed, or water is trapped because the drain is blocked. We release the door safely and replace the lock if needed.
The codes you are most likely to see
| Code | What it usually means | A safe check before calling | Message us when |
|---|---|---|---|
| E17 (F17 on some models) | Water is not entering the drum in time | Tap fully open, hose not kinked, inlet filter clean | The filter is clean and the code returns |
| E18 (F18 on some models) | Water is not leaving the drum in time | Clean the pump filter, check the drain hose for kinks | The filter is clean and the pump hums or stays silent |
| E19 (F19 on some models) | Heating time exceeded, per Bosch's washing machine pages | None. Do not open the machine | Always. A cold wash still runs, but the fault will not clear itself |
| F21 | Reported by repair sites as a motor fault. Not listed on the Bosch pages we read | Redistribute the load and restart once | The drum will not spin, or it rumbles and stops |
| E67 | Repair sites link it to the control module. Not listed on the Bosch pages we read | Switch off at the wall for two minutes and restart | The code returns after the restart |
Codes differ between ranges, and Bosch publishes the official meaning for each on its own support pages, so the manual for your exact model has the final say.
We service the common Bosch washing machine ranges sold in the UAE, including Serie 2, 4, 6 and 8 models and the i-DOS and EcoSilence Drive versions. If you have the model number, send it with your booking.
Washer-dryers and dryers
A washer-dryer that washes but does not dry is usually a heating element or a temperature sensor. The wash side keeps working, so the fault can sit unnoticed for weeks while clothes come out damp.
Tumble dryers split into two types, and the cause of a long cycle depends on which you own. A heat-pump dryer dries at a lower temperature and relies on a heat exchanger (the condenser) to remove moisture. When lint coats it, drying times stretch noticeably, and the machine eventually stops with an error. A conventional condenser dryer uses an electric heating element, which fails outright and leaves the drum cold. The cheapest check is the same for both: empty the lint filter, then rinse the condenser under a tap if your manual allows it, and let it dry fully before refitting. If the cycle is still long after that, the heating element, a temperature sensor or the heat-pump compressor is the next suspect.
A burning smell means stop. Unplug the dryer and message us on WhatsApp.
Dishwashers
Bosch dishwashers show the fault on the display, and the codes are specific:
- E09: the heating element or its sensor is not heating the wash water.
- E15: the safety float in the base tray has detected water. Do not run another cycle. The cause is a leaking door seal, hose or pump housing.
- E22: the filter is clogged, or the circulation pump is restricted.
- E24 and E25: the drain hose is blocked or kinked, or debris such as broken glass is jamming the drain pump.
Dishes coming out cloudy or gritty are often a water-softener issue rather than a broken part. Bosch dishwashers have a built-in softener that needs dishwasher salt, and a rinse-aid dispenser that needs topping up. When the salt light stays on, or you have not refilled either in months, limescale leaves a white film on glasses and builds up on the heating element, which shortens its life. Refill both, run a hot cycle, and see whether the film clears. If it does not, we check the softener setting and the element during the visit.
Fridges and freezers
Bosch NoFrost fridges rely on a fan, a defrost heater and a few sensors. When the freezer is cold but the fridge is warm, the usual cause is ice blocking the air duct or a failed air flap. If ice builds up on the back wall of the freezer, the defrost heater or its sensor has failed, and chipping at it with a knife can puncture the evaporator. A fridge that cools slowly and runs constantly may have a failing fan or compressor relay. Check the settings first: a fridge compartment should sit at about 4°C and a freezer at −18°C, and a door left slightly open overnight can mimic a fault. If the settings are right and the problem continues, move the food into a cool box, turn the fridge off, leave the doors open and message us on WhatsApp.
Ovens, hobs and cooker hoods
Ovens that do not heat usually need a new heating element or thermostat. If the light and fan come on but the oven stays cold, the element is the first suspect; if the oven overheats or the temperature is wrong, look at the temperature sensor. A convection fan that has stopped, a door that no longer closes flush and a display that does not respond are the other common jobs. On Bosch ovens with a pyrolytic self-clean cycle, the door lock engages at very high temperature, so a door that stays locked after cleaning needs a technician, not force.
Induction hobs behave differently from gas or ceramic ones. A zone that beeps or switches off often points to the power module or a cooling fan clogged with dust, but the pan matters too. Induction needs a flat-based, magnetic pan of roughly the right size, so check that a fridge magnet sticks to yours before you suspect the hob. Gas hobs fail at the igniter or the flame-safety valve: if the burner clicks but will not light, or lights and dies when you release the knob, those are the parts. A cracked glass top needs replacing, not repairing. Stop using the hob as soon as you see the crack, because liquid can reach the electronics underneath.
Cooker hoods are the simplest of the three: weak suction usually means a saturated grease filter first, then a failing capacitor or motor. Wash metal filters before you call anyone. Bosch gives no cleaning interval, so monthly for heavy frying is our rule of thumb. The full checklist is on our cooker hood repair page.
Coffee machines and microwaves
We repair Bosch fully automatic coffee machines, Tassimo machines and built-in microwaves. Leaks, a pump that will not build pressure and a grinder that grinds noisily are the usual calls for coffee machines. Microwaves that run but do not heat usually have a failed high-voltage diode, capacitor or magnetron, and we test each before quoting (see our microwave repair page). Because of the high voltage inside, we ask that nobody opens the casing.
What happens on a visit
This is the sequence, with the time each step takes.
- You book (2 minutes). Use the online form, call, or send a WhatsApp message with a photo of the fault and the rating plate. Tell us the error code if there is one.
- We confirm a two-hour window. Same-day slots are offered until 4 pm. You receive the technician's name by message.
- The technician calls 30 minutes before arriving. If you are not home, tell us where the key or access card is, and which gate or concierge to approach.
- Diagnosis on site (15 to 30 minutes). The technician tests the appliance, finds the fault and shows you the failed part where possible.
- A written quote before any work starts. You see the price in AED, the part number and the time the job will take. You approve it or decline. Declining costs only the inspection fee.
- The repair (45 to 120 minutes for most jobs). If the part is on the van, the job is done in this visit. If it has to be ordered, we tell you the lead time before you approve the quote and book the second visit then.
- Testing before we leave. We run a short cycle, check for leaks and confirm the error code has cleared.
- Invoice and warranty. You receive a VAT invoice listing the parts and labour, the part numbers fitted and the end date of your 90-day warranty.
If you are renting, tell us at booking and we will send the quote to your landlord or property manager first, so nothing is repaired without approval.
Which repairs finish in one visit
Whether a job is done on the first visit depends on the part, not the technician's effort. As a guide, based on how the parts are normally stocked:
| Repair | Usual outcome | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Pump filter clean-out, inlet filter clean, hose replacement | Same visit | No special part, or a common one |
| Drain pump, heating element, door seal on a popular model | Usually the same visit | Common parts the technician carries |
| Door lock, motor, bearings, thermostat | Often a second visit | Model-specific parts, ordered once the fault is confirmed |
| Control boards and induction modules | Second visit | Model-specific and costly, so not carried for every model |
| Glass tops, door glass, large panels | Second visit | Ordered for your exact size |
If a job needs a second visit, you approve the quote knowing the price and the lead time, and you are not charged the inspection fee a second time.
What it costs
You pay AED 99 for the inspection and written quote. If you go ahead with the repair, that amount is taken off the repair price. If you decline, you pay the AED 99 and nothing else.
A worked example: a Bosch washing machine shows E18 and the technician finds a failed drain pump. The all-in repair price is AED 250, and the AED 99 inspection is part of that figure, not an extra. VAT of AED 12.50 is added, and the total is AED 262.50. If you had declined the quote, you would have paid AED 99 plus AED 4.95 VAT, a total of AED 103.95.
Typical repair ranges, in AED, excluding 5% VAT
Every appliance we repair, with guides by symptom, part and model, is on our services page. The full fault-by-fault price guide, with worked VAT examples, is on our pricing page.
| Appliance | Typical repairs | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Washing machines | Drain pump, door seal, motor brushes, bearings | 150 – 780 |
| Dryers | Heating element, thermostat, belt, condenser | 180 – 620 |
| Washer-dryers | Pump, heater, door lock, control module | 200 – 800 |
| Dishwashers | Heating element, drain pump, circulation pump, seals | 160 – 540 |
| Refrigerators and freezers | Defrost heater, sensors, fan motor, door seals | 220 – 900 |
| Ovens | Element, thermostat, fan, door hinges and seals | 180 – 520 |
| Hobs | Induction module, glass top, gas valves, igniters | 200 – 780 |
| Cooker hoods | Motor, capacitor, lights, controls | 150 – 450 |
| Microwaves | Magnetron, door switch, turntable motor | 140 – 420 |
| Coffee machines | Descaling, pump, brew unit, grinder | 150 – 560 |
The range depends on which part has failed. A blocked pump filter costs a fraction of a new control board. Three things push a quote toward the top of its range:
- The part. Control boards, induction modules and compressors cost far more than pumps, seals and heaters.
- Access. A built-in oven or integrated dishwasher takes longer to remove and refit than a freestanding unit.
- Parts on hand. If a part has to be ordered, the price is the same, but you wait for a second visit.
Repair or replace?
Ask for the written quote and compare it with the price of a comparable new machine. A practical rule: if the repair costs more than half of what a new equivalent would cost, or if the appliance is older than ten years and has failed more than once, replacing it is the better use of money. Below that line, repair usually makes sense. A drain pump on a six-year-old washer or a heating element on a five-year-old oven sits well below it.
Three examples show how the rule works. The new-appliance prices below are assumptions for the arithmetic, so check current prices before you decide.
- Six-year-old Serie 6 washer, E18, failed drain pump. Quote: AED 250. A comparable new washer at about AED 2,200 costs almost nine times as much. Repair it.
- Twelve-year-old fridge-freezer, compressor failure, second major repair in three years. Quote: AED 900 against about AED 2,800 new. The quote is under a third of the new price, but the machine is past ten years and has failed twice. Replace it.
- Four-year-old induction hob with a cracked glass top. Quote: AED 700 against about AED 1,900 new. That is 37% of the new price on a young appliance. Repair it.
We will tell you when a repair is not worth it. If the quote tells you to buy new, you owe only the inspection fee.
Payment is by card, cash or bank transfer, and every visit gets a VAT invoice.
Warranty, parts and what we do not do
The warranty. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on the parts fitted and the labour for the fault we repaired. If the same fault returns inside 90 days, we come back at no charge. The warranty ends if the appliance is misused, damaged by a power surge, or opened by someone else.
Parts. We do not describe our parts as original Bosch. We list the part number on your invoice, so you can check it against Bosch's own parts lookup, and our spare parts guide explains how. The model number matters here: two washing machines that look identical can use different drain pumps, door locks and control modules, and a part that nearly fits is how a repair fails a month later. That is why we ask for the E-Nr before the visit. Where the part we quoted is no longer available, we say so before you approve the quote and explain the alternative.
What we do not do. The limits matter as much as the promises:
- We do not process manufacturer warranty claims or repair appliances on Bosch's behalf.
- We do not repair other brands, air conditioners or water heaters. If you call about one, we will say so straight away.
- We do not recommend a part when a clean would solve the problem. Many E17 and E18 faults are a blocked filter, and we will say so and charge only the inspection.
- We do not start work before you have approved a written price.
Bosch service center near me
The same search, five spellings
People find this page by typing "Bosch service center Dubai", "Bosch Dubai service center", "Bosch UAE service center", "Bosch repair center" or "Bosch washing machine service center Dubai". They all describe the same need, and the answer is the same for each. Bosch's own after-sales desk in the UAE is the manufacturer-side Bosch UAE service center described above. We are a separate, independent repair company that works across Dubai. For a washing machine, the repair center is your own laundry room, because the technician brings the tools and common parts to you.
Where we work
We are a home-service business. There is no walk-in counter: the technician comes to you, which is the practical option for a washing machine, a built-in oven or a fridge you cannot carry into a car. If you searched for a Bosch service center near you, the nearest one is the technician's van, and the arrival times are below.
| Area | Typical arrival after booking |
|---|---|
| Downtown Dubai | 50 minutes |
| JLT | 55 minutes |
| Business Bay | 55 minutes |
| Dubai Marina | 60 minutes |
| Al Barsha | 60 minutes |
| Dubai Hills | 60 minutes |
| JVC | 65 minutes |
| Mirdif | 70 minutes |
| Palm Jumeirah | 75 minutes |
These are typical arrival times after the technician sets off, not guarantees; evening traffic on the main roads adds to them. If your area is not listed, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you whether we cover it before you book. Towers and gated communities often require a contractor permit or a name on the access list, so send the building and apartment details with the booking.
Before the technician arrives
A few minutes of preparation saves time and money. Do these before the visit:
- Write down the model number (E-Nr). It is on the rating plate described above. With it, we can check the parts before we arrive.
- Note the error code and when it started. "Shows E18 since Tuesday, after a big wash of towels" is far more useful than "it's broken."
- Take a short video of the fault. An intermittent noise or a leak that only happens in the spin cycle may not repeat for the technician.
- Clear the area. Leave about 60 cm in front of a washing machine or dishwasher, and empty the cupboard around a built-in oven or hob.
- Turn the tap off for a leak. If water is escaping, isolate the supply and switch the appliance off at the wall. Do not run it again until the technician has seen it.
- Arrange building access. Many towers need a contractor pass. Tell the concierge or property manager what time the technician will arrive.
- Have the warranty and invoice ready if you are unsure of your cover. It lets us advise you honestly on whether to call Bosch first.
Do not open the casing, replace parts yourself or bypass any safety device. When an appliance is faulty, the only DIY steps we recommend are cleaning the pump filter and the lint filter, with the appliance unplugged.
Keeping a Bosch running between repairs
Most appliance faults are cheaper to prevent than to repair. The frequencies below are practical suggestions; your manual's schedule takes priority if it differs.
| Appliance | Task | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Washing machine | Clean the pump filter behind the bottom flap | Every 2 to 3 months |
| Washing machine | Wipe the door seal and leave the door ajar after the last wash | After each wash day |
| Washing machine | Run an empty hot cycle with descaler | Every 2 months, or as the manual says |
| Dishwasher | Rinse the filter under the tap | Monthly |
| Dishwasher | Refill salt and rinse aid | When the indicator lights |
| Dishwasher | Run a hot cycle with dishwasher cleaner | Every 2 to 3 months |
| Fridge-freezer | Wipe the door seals with warm water | Monthly |
| Fridge-freezer | Check temperature: about 4°C fridge, −18°C freezer | When you notice food spoiling faster |
| Oven | Wipe spills once the oven has cooled; check the door seal | After each heavy use |
| Induction hob | Keep the vents clear and lift pans rather than sliding them | Always |
| Dryer | Empty the lint filter | After every cycle |
| Dryer (heat pump) | Rinse the condenser | Every 1 to 2 months of regular use |
| Coffee machine | Descale when prompted; empty the drip tray | When prompted; daily |
Limescale coats heating elements, which then run hotter and burn out sooner, and it clogs inlet filters, which causes E17. A descaling cycle costs a few dirhams. A replacement element does not.
If you have an older machine that is still working and want a second opinion before something fails, the AED 99 inspection does that job: the technician checks the seals, hoses, pump and heater, tells you what is wearing, and gives you a quote if anything needs attention.
Frequently asked questions
Are you Bosch's official service center in Dubai? No. We are an independent company that specialises in repairing Bosch appliances. We are not affiliated with BSH Home Appliances. Bosch's official after-sales service in the UAE is operated through its distributor, and its contact details are on its own service page.
Will using you cancel my warranty? That depends on your warranty terms, and we cannot read them for you. If the appliance is still in warranty, call Bosch first. If the warranty has ended, there is nothing to cancel.
How quickly can you come? Book before 4 pm and in most areas we visit the same day. Outside that, we offer the next available two-hour window, usually the next morning.
What does the AED 99 inspection cover? The technician's visit, the diagnosis of the fault and a written quote with the part number and the price. If you approve the repair, the AED 99 is deducted from the repair price. If you decline, it is the only thing you pay.
Do you repair built-in appliances? Yes. Built-in ovens, hobs, dishwashers and fridge-freezers take more time because the unit must be pulled out or opened up. Tell us at booking if the appliance is built in, so we allow enough time.
Can you repair a Bosch bought outside the UAE? Often, yes. Models sold abroad may have different voltages or part codes. Send the E-Nr from the rating plate and we will confirm that the parts are available before you pay for a visit.
I am a tenant. Who pays? That depends on your tenancy contract. Check what it says about appliances. Tell us at booking and we will send the quote to your landlord or agent for approval, so you are not left paying.
My Bosch appliance will not connect to the Home Connect app. Can you help? Usually the cause is the Wi-Fi network or the app, not the appliance: the router changed its name or password, the signal is weak where the appliance stands, or the app needs to be reset. Try reconnecting from the appliance's own menu first. If it still fails and the appliance runs normally, tell us at booking and we will advise whether a visit is worthwhile.
What if the repair does not work? If the same fault returns within 90 days, we come back and fix it at no charge. If the repair was not possible, you pay the inspection fee only.
