How do I book a Bosch repair in Dubai?
Message us on WhatsApp at +971 55 209 9785 or use the online booking form. Send the appliance, the model code, the fault and a photo. We reply with a price range and a two-hour arrival window. Our contact page lists exactly what to include and has a message builder.
Can I phone you instead?
No. We work by WhatsApp only, so the photos, the quote and the invoice stay in one thread. If you cannot use WhatsApp, use the booking form and we confirm the details in writing.
What are your opening hours?
We take messages and bookings every day from 7 am to 10 pm, Fridays and weekends included. A message sent after 10 pm waits until the morning.
Can I get a repair on the same day?
Often. Book before 4 pm and we offer a same-day window in most areas, confirmed in our reply. If a leak or a dead fridge cannot wait, say so in the first line of your message.
Which areas of Dubai do you cover?
We make home visits across Dubai. The areas page lists the communities we serve. If yours is not listed, message us and we tell you whether we can reach it before you pay for anything.
Do I need to be at home during the repair?
Someone aged 18 or over should be at the address, or you should tell us in the thread who will give the technician access. The technician messages you on WhatsApp 30 minutes before arriving.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the fault. The technician diagnoses on site and tells you the time and price before you approve anything. Many repairs finish in one visit when the part is on the van. If a part has to be ordered, we give the lead time before you approve. The pricing page shows typical times by fault.
Can I cancel or move a booking?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with your booking details and the new time you prefer, as early as you can.
Do you speak Arabic?
Yes. You can write to us in English or Arabic.
Is it better to use a service centre or a home visit?
For large appliances, a home visit means nothing has to be carried out of your kitchen. Bosch UAE says small appliances can be taken to its service center directly, while large appliances need a booking. We are a home-visit service and do not run a workshop. Prices and payment
How much does a Bosch repair cost in Dubai?
It depends on the appliance and the fault. Our pricing page lists ranges by fault in AED. The firm price is the written quote the technician gives you after diagnosing the appliance. Every visit starts with an inspection of AED 99 plus 5% VAT.
Is the AED 99 inspection extra?
No. If you approve the repair, the AED 99 comes off the total. If you decline, you pay AED 99 plus 5% VAT, which is AED 103.95.
Does the price include VAT?
No. Prices are in AED and 5% VAT is added. VAT appears on its own line on the quote and the invoice.
What do I pay if I decline the repair?
You pay the inspection fee only: AED 99 plus 5% VAT, which is AED 103.95.
Do you charge a call-out or travel fee?
No. The AED 99 inspection is the only charge before a repair, and it is credited.
Are your prices fixed?
The quote you approve is the price. If the technician finds a second fault, we stop and quote it separately, and you decide.
Can you give me a price from a photo or a WhatsApp message?
We can give a range if you send the model code and a photo of the appliance and the fault. The price is confirmed in writing after the inspection, because the part we find decides it.
Why was my quote higher than the range?
Usually a more expensive part for your model, a built-in appliance that took longer to remove, or a second fault. We explain which on the quote.
Do you charge extra for built-in appliances?
Labour is higher when the appliance has to be removed from a housing, and that is already in the ranges. Tell us when you book that the appliance is built in.
How do I pay?
After the work is done, by card, cash or bank transfer to the company account.
Is it worth repairing an old appliance?
Our rule of thumb: repair if the quote is under half the price of a comparable new one and the appliance is under ten years old. Above that, think hard.
How long should a Bosch appliance last?
We found no lifespan figure on the Bosch UAE pages we read. Lifespans quoted by repair blogs online come without cited data, so we do not quote one. A practical test is the repair cost against the appliance's age and what else is wearing. The repair-or-replace section on each service page sets this out by appliance.
Warranty, parts and Bosch
Are you Bosch's official service center in Dubai?
No. We are an independent company that specialises in repairing Bosch appliances. We are not affiliated with BSH Home Appliances. Bosch's official after-sales service in the UAE is operated through its distributor, and its contact details are on its own service page.
Will using you cancel my warranty?
That depends on your warranty terms, and we cannot read them for you. If the appliance is still in warranty, call Bosch first. If the warranty has ended, there is nothing to cancel.
What if my appliance is under warranty?
Contact Bosch first. An independent repair may affect your cover, and we do not give legal advice on a specific warranty.
Do you give a warranty?
Yes, 90 days on parts and labour for the repaired fault.
What if the repair does not work?
If the same fault returns within 90 days, we come back and fix it at no charge. If the repair was not possible, you pay the inspection fee only.
Do you use original Bosch parts?
We put the part number on the quote and on the invoice so you can check exactly what is fitted. We do not claim original Bosch parts on this site. Bosch UAE says it supplies original spare parts through its own ordering routes, which our spare parts guide describes.
Do you carry parts for my model?
We carry the common parts for popular Bosch models: pumps, door seals, inlet valves and heaters. Model-specific parts, such as control modules and door locks, are ordered once the fault is confirmed. Send the E-Nr before the visit and we check availability in advance.
Are your technicians certified?
We do not publish certifications, because we only state what we can show. Ask any company, including us, what you want to see in writing. Our guide to authorised versus independent repair lists the questions to ask.
Can you repair a Bosch bought outside the UAE?
Often, yes. Models sold abroad may have different voltages or part codes. Send the E-Nr from the rating plate and we will confirm that the parts are available before you pay for a visit.
Do you give an invoice?
Yes. Every repair ends with a UAE tax invoice showing VAT on its own line, the part number next to the part, the fault and the warranty period. You receive it in the same WhatsApp thread.
What we repair
Which appliances do you repair?
Bosch washing machines, dryers, washer-dryers, dishwashers, fridges and freezers, ovens, hobs, cooker hoods, microwaves and coffee machines. The services page covers each.
Do you repair other brands?
No. We repair Bosch home appliances only. If yours is another make, we say so in the first reply rather than book a visit we cannot complete.
Do you repair air conditioners?
No. Air conditioners are not on our list of ten Bosch appliance types.
Do you repair vacuum cleaners, blenders and other small appliances?
Not beyond coffee machines. Vacuum cleaners, blenders, kettles and similar small appliances are not on our list.
Do you repair built-in appliances?
Yes. Built-in ovens, hobs, dishwashers and fridge-freezers take more time because the unit must be pulled out or opened up. Tell us at booking if the appliance is built in, so we allow enough time.
Do you repair old or discontinued Bosch models?
Send us the model code. We tell you whether we can source parts before you pay for a visit.
Can you install a new appliance?
Installing new appliances is not part of the repair service described on this site. Message us if you need help and we will say whether we can.
My Bosch appliance will not connect to the Home Connect app. Can you help?
Usually the cause is the Wi-Fi network or the app, not the appliance: the router changed its name or password, the signal is weak where the appliance stands, or the app needs to be reset. Try reconnecting from the appliance's own menu first. If it still fails and the appliance runs normally, tell us at booking and we will advise whether a visit is worthwhile.
Do you repair commercial kitchen equipment?
No. We repair domestic Bosch appliances, including those in offices and holiday homes. Our business page explains who the service is for.
Common faults
Why will my Bosch washing machine not spin?
Bosch Singapore and Kuwait name a blocked pump or a kinked or blocked drain hose. Bosch US adds clothing under the agitator and an unbalanced load, which it calls one of the most common causes.
I cleaned the filter, but E18 is still on the display. Why?
The code can stay until a cycle completes, so run a drain program first. If it returns, check the drain hose behind the machine for a kink and the standpipe for a blockage. Make sure the pump cover is screwed in tightly with the grip vertical. If all of that is fine, the pump itself has failed, and it needs replacing.
Why does my Bosch dishwasher leave water in the bottom?
The cause is most often drainage: a clogged filter, a blocked or loose pump cover, a kinked drain hose, or a blocked sink waste that the dishwasher drains into. Clean the filter first. If the code returns after the filter and hose are clear, the drain pump has probably failed.
Why has my Bosch fridge stopped cooling?
Bosch's support pages point to three first causes: no power, a changed temperature setting, and blocked airflow or dirty condenser coils. Check that the light comes on, set the fridge to +4 °C, and clear the vents. If it still does not cool, the cause is likely the fan, the defrost system, a sensor, the control board or the sealed cooling system, and a technician needs to find out which.
Why is my Bosch oven not heating up?
Check the settings first: demo mode, child lock, the clock and a program that has not started. If the display and fan work but there is no heat, the usual causes are a failed element, a temperature sensor or a relay on the control module. A technician separates them with a meter. Do not replace parts before the diagnosis.
Why will my Bosch gas hob click but not light?
Clicking means the igniter works. Check that the gas supply is on and the valve is open, that the burner ports are clear, and that the cap is dry and seated. Bosch Singapore says excess moisture after cleaning can stop a flame forming. If it still will not light, turn the knob off and book.
Why is my Bosch cooker hood not pulling air?
Bosch UK lists blocked filters, restricted or blocked ducting, a low fan speed, poor room ventilation on a recirculating hood, and a faulty fan or motor. Clean the grease filter first. If the hood is ducted and the fan runs, the fault may be in the duct.
Why is my Bosch microwave running but not heating?
Bosch New Zealand, South Africa and the US give no causes. Bosch Singapore says to check the plate spins freely and sits level, clean debris from the plate and ring, and test with a cup of water. If the water stays cold, the fault is in the heating path, and we diagnose it.
Why is my Bosch coffee machine leaking?
Bosch UAE says a clogged and leaking machine normally needs a repair, and Bosch Egypt says water running out usually needs a repair. Our service data lists seals and the water tank valve as the usual causes. Find the water and photograph it before you call.
Why is my Bosch dryer not drying?
Start with the filter and the water container. Bosch Kuwait says to clean the filter after each use and to empty the container after every cycle. Then try a half load. If a half load still comes out damp after a clean filter and container, the heat exchanger or a sensor is the next suspect, and an inspection will tell which.
Why does my Bosch washer dryer wash but not dry?
A common cause is a load larger than the drying capacity, which is smaller than the wash capacity. If the load is right, check the lint filter and the program, then message us on WhatsApp. The heater, a temperature or moisture sensor, or a blocked condenser path are the usual faults.
What does an error code on my Bosch appliance mean?
The code names the circuit or function that reported a problem, not always the part that has failed. Our error code guides list what each code reports, what to check safely and what a technician does next.
Safety and doing it yourself
Can I keep using my washing machine until the technician arrives?
If the fault is a slow drain or a noisy but working machine, short cycles may be safe. Stop completely if there is a leak, a burning smell, a tripping RCD, or a code you cannot explain. Running a machine with a leak or an electrical fault turns a modest repair into an expensive one.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Do not try the burners again. Bosch's page we read does not cover this, so our suggestion is to leave the kitchen, ventilate, avoid switches and call your gas supplier or your building's emergency contact. We repair the hob once the supply is safe.
Can I fix a Bosch microwave myself?
Bosch Singapore advises against attempting repairs yourself. Ours: a microwave contains a capacitor that can hold a dangerous charge when unplugged, so limit yourself to cleaning and a breaker reset.
Can I repair my appliance myself?
Simple checks are reasonable: the plug and socket, the filter, the tap and the door. Our guides list them. Bosch Singapore advises against repairing mains-powered appliances yourself, and we agree for anything inside the casing.
What should I do if my appliance is leaking?
Close the water tap, switch the appliance off at the wall and mop the floor. Message us on WhatsApp with a photo of the leak and the model code.
Tenants, landlords and businesses
I am a tenant. Who pays?
That depends on your tenancy contract. Check what it says about appliances. Tell us at booking and we will send the quote to your landlord or agent for approval, so you are not left paying.
Can a landlord or agent book for a tenant?
Yes. Tell us who approves the quote, who receives the invoice and who will be at the property. The business page covers approvals and invoicing.
Can you issue a VAT invoice to my company?
Yes. Tell us the company name and registration number before the visit.
Do you offer plans for several units?
Yes. The business page lists the yearly plans and what each includes.
After the repair
What if the same fault comes back?
Message us on WhatsApp with the invoice. If the fault returns within the warranty period written on it, we repair it again under the warranty.
How do I make a complaint?
Message us on WhatsApp with the word "Complaint", the date of the visit and what happened. We reply in the thread. If you are not satisfied, UAE consumer protection rules give you a route outside us. The Bosch customer care guide covers the steps.
