Bosch Spare Parts Dubai: Find the Right Part by E-Nr

How to find the right Bosch part by E-Nr, what Bosch UAE says about spare parts, what you can fit yourself, and what to leave to a technician in Dubai.

Bosch Spare Parts in Dubai: Finding the Right Part for Your Appliance

Most searches for Bosch spare parts in Dubai start with a broken part and a guess: a spray arm that cracked, a door seal that split, a pump that stopped. The guess is usually fine. The expensive mistake comes next, when the part that looks identical on a shop listing turns out to belong to a different version of the machine. Ours, from years of repair visits: appliances that look the same from the front can differ inside, and the number that tells them apart is printed on a plate you may never have looked at.

This page walks through that number, the E-Nr, and what to do with it. It sets out what Bosch UAE says on its own spare-parts pages for washing machines and dishwashers, including the 15-year availability figure and the footnote attached to it. It separates the parts an owner can reasonably order and fit from the parts that belong to a technician. It also says plainly what we do, what we do not, and which questions the Bosch pages leave unanswered.

We repair Bosch appliances in Dubai. We are an independent company and not an authorised Bosch agent, and we are not part of BSH Home Appliances. Where this page says "Bosch says", it names the Bosch page and country. Where it says "ours", it is our own reading and you should weigh it that way. If your appliance is inside Bosch's warranty, contact Bosch first, because a part fitted by someone else can complicate a claim. Our Bosch customer care guide lists the official channels.

At a glance

  • Start with the E-Nr. Bosch UAE says it "always starts with three letters" and ends with a "/" and two digits. It is on the type plate. Every Bosch parts lookup we found asks for it.
  • Bosch UAE says it supplies "Original Bosch spare parts" for washing machines (Serie 2, 4, 6, 8 and HomeProfessional) and dishwashers (Serie 2 to 8). Orders go through the contact centre by phone, form or email, not a shopping cart.
  • Availability is stated as a ceiling. Bosch UAE says functional parts are available "for up to 15 years" after production, "as far as functionally relevant and storable". Bosch New Zealand says "at least" ten years. We show both.
  • No Bosch page we read gives a part price, a delivery time, a stock level or a return term for spare parts.
  • Looks-alike machines can use different parts. A part that nearly fits is the usual reason a repair fails a month later. The E-Nr is the safeguard.
  • We do not claim our parts are "original Bosch". We write the part number on your quote and invoice so you can check it against Bosch's lookup.
  • Parts you can sensibly handle yourself are the ones that clip in or lift out: racks, baskets, rack wheels and filters. Anything electrical, anything behind a panel and anything that holds water pressure is a technician's job.
  • A repair with a part in Dubai: typically AED 160 to 780 before 5% VAT depending on the appliance and the fault, with the AED 99 inspection credited to the repair and a 90-day warranty on ours.

Find your E-Nr first

Everything about spare parts starts here, so it is worth ten minutes to get it right before you search anywhere.

The E-Nr (the model number, in Bosch's wording) is printed on the type plate, sometimes called the rating plate. Bosch UAE's washing machine parts page says it starts with three letters, ends with a "/" followed by two digits, and is on the type plate, "often a sticker inside the door". The same page captions the label as being on the bottom, behind the door. Bosch's dishwasher parts page says the same about the format and tells you to look for the type plate on the dishwasher itself.

Our customer care guide lists the usual location for each appliance:

Appliance Usual location of the type plate
Washing machine or washer-dryer Inside the door opening, or on the back panel
Dishwasher On the edge of the door, or on the inner side panel when the door is open
Oven On the frame or edge of the door when it is open
Fridge or freezer Inside the cabinet; the manual shows the spot
Hob Often underneath; check the manual or the original box
Coffee machine Often underneath or at the back

Those locations come from our own page, built from the usual layout of Bosch appliances. Your manual shows the exact place for your model.

Copy the whole thing

Bosch Singapore's repair guidance says the rating plate carries two numbers: the E-Nr and the FD production number. Bosch's parts lookup, according to the UAE and New Zealand pages, asks for the E-Nr. Copy it exactly as printed, including the slash and the two digits after it. Ours, not Bosch's: a retailer's product listing sometimes shows a shorter sales code with no slash, and that shorter code is not necessarily what a parts lookup wants. If your listing and your plate disagree, trust the plate.

Photograph the plate while you are there. A phone picture of the plate is more reliable than a number copied by hand, because 8 and B, 0 and O, and 1 and 7 look alike on a small sticker. Bosch UAE says you can also upload a PNG or JPG photo of the plate to its lookup. It says nothing about how accurate the reading is, so check what comes back against the plate itself.

When the plate is missing, painted over or unreadable

The Bosch pages we read give no instruction for this case. New Zealand's page lists "instructions for finding the E-Nr if the type plate is missing or unreadable" among the things it does not cover, and the UAE pages do not mention it either. These are our suggestions, labelled as such:

  • Check the manual cover, which often carries the number.
  • Check the original delivery or installation paperwork and the retailer's invoice, which may list the full model.
  • Check any MyBosch registration you made. Bosch's registration page asks for the E-Nr and purchase date.
  • On a built-in appliance, open the door fully and look at the frame edge before assuming it is missing. The plate may be hidden by the cabinet when the door is closed.
  • If none of this works, send us photographs of the appliance, the inside of the door and the area where the plate should be. A technician can often identify a model from the controls and layout, though we will tell you when we cannot be sure, and we will not order a model-specific part on a guess.

What the FD number is for

The FD number is the production date code. Bosch Singapore says both numbers are needed when ordering spare parts. The UAE pages mention only the E-Nr. When two machines share an E-Nr but were built months apart, the FD number is how a parts specialist separates them. We have no UAE source that says how often this matters, so we ask for both on the plate and treat the FD number as the tiebreaker.

What Bosch UAE says about spare parts

Bosch UAE has separate spare-parts pages for washing machines and dishwashers. We read both on 2 November 2026. Bosch updates them, so use the summary as a map and read the page itself before you rely on a detail.

What the pages do not say

Both pages are silent on a long list of questions that people reasonably ask:

  • Whether a specific part is in stock for your E-Nr.
  • Prices, delivery times, shipping costs or payment options.
  • Whether you can check out and pay on the website. The washing machine page's search description says "online", but the page body we read lists only the contact centre.
  • The contact centre's opening hours.
  • Return terms or a warranty on a spare part.
  • What "functionally relevant and storable" means in practice.
  • Ovens, washer dryers, fridges and hobs. We found UAE parts pages for the two appliances above only.

We do not fill these gaps with guesses. Where an answer matters to you, such as whether the part is in stock, ask the contact centre in writing and keep the reply.

Two phone numbers, both on Bosch UAE pages

The spare-parts pages give 600 522 553. Our customer care guide notes that Bosch's UAE repair and washer-dryer support pages give a BSH line, 048030400. Both appear on Bosch UAE pages as we read them. Which one reaches the right team for a parts question is not stated, so try the one on the parts page for parts, and check any number on Bosch's site before you dial, because numbers change.

A wording point on the email address

The parts email address uses the domain homewidegcc.com, not bosch-home.com. We report it as the page prints it. The page does not explain the relationship. If you prefer to work through the contact form on Bosch's own site, use that, and note the date and the reference you are given.

"Original", "genuine" and "compatible": what the words promise

People search for "bosch genuine spare parts" and "bosch original parts" almost interchangeably. Bosch UAE uses "Original Bosch spare parts" on both of its parts pages. Bosch UK's product-page wording is that "original spare parts ensure the best fit, safety, and durability for your appliance", which is a statement of Bosch's position, not a test you can run.

The words need unpacking because they are used loosely by sellers:

  • Original or genuine normally means a part supplied by or for the manufacturer, usually with the manufacturer's part number and packaging.
  • Compatible, aftermarket or non-genuine means a part made by someone else to fit. Quality varies in both groups, and a compatible part is not automatically a poor one. The two groups are not interchangeable in a warranty conversation, though, because some manufacturers' terms treat them differently.
  • "OEM" is a seller's label. Ours: ask the seller what it means in their listing, because it is not a term Bosch UAE uses on its parts pages.
  • "Refurbished" or "used" means taken from another machine. Fit depends on the donor machine matching your model.

What we claim and what we do not

We do not call the parts we fit "original Bosch parts". We cannot prove supply chains to you and we would rather not claim it. What we do instead is concrete: the part number of every part we fit appears on your written quote and on your invoice, so you can check it against Bosch's own lookup or ask Bosch about it. If the part we quoted is not available when we arrive, we tell you before we fit anything else. We say that again below because it is the single most useful question to put to any repairer.

Our authorised versus independent guide goes into the warranty side of this. The short version is that wording matters, and it is better to ask than to assume.

Five questions to ask any seller or repairer

  1. Which part number are you supplying or fitting?
  2. Is it supplied by Bosch, or by another maker?
  3. Will the part number be on the invoice?
  4. What warranty applies to the part, and what applies to the labour?
  5. If the exact part is unavailable, will you tell me before you fit a substitute?

A seller who answers all five clearly is easier to deal with than one who says "genuine" and nothing else.

How long parts stay available

Two Bosch pages give two answers, and we show both.

Source What it says Footnote or limit
Bosch UAE, washing machine and dishwasher parts pages Functional parts "for up to 15 years" after production "As far as functionally relevant and storable"
Bosch New Zealand, dishwasher parts page Functional parts "for at least ten years" after production, "many" longer The page gives no footnote in the text we read

These do not contradict each other as written, because "up to 15" and "at least ten" can both be true. They do imply different things about what you can plan on. The UAE wording makes 15 years a ceiling that depends on whether a part is "functionally relevant and storable". The New Zealand wording makes ten years a floor. We cannot tell you which applies to a Bosch model sold in the UAE, and neither page says whether the figures are legal requirements or Bosch policy.

What this means in practice

Ours, not Bosch's: treat availability as a question about your own E-Nr, not about the brand. A ten-year-old machine with a common pump is a very different case from a ten-year-old machine with a control module of a type Bosch stopped making. Look the E-Nr up, and if the lookup finds nothing, ask the contact centre in writing whether the part exists, is superseded, or is discontinued.

The practical sign that a machine is nearing the end of its parts life is not its age. It is a quote that depends on a part nobody can promise. When we are in that position we say so before you approve anything, which is the point of the written quote, and we discuss whether a repair still makes sense. Our appliance pages cover the repair-or-replace question where it applies, for example the oven repair page and the washing machine page.

Parts by appliance: what is listed, what is model-specific

This section goes appliance by appliance. For each, it says what Bosch UAE lists, what our own repair guides cover, and where the E-Nr matters most.

Dishwashers

Bosch UAE names door hinges and seals, spray arms, drain filters, racks, baskets and plastic parts, then heat pumps, drain pumps, valves, hoses and filters. That is the most detailed list of any appliance on the UAE site.

Our dishwasher guides cover most of them:

  • Drain pump. Our drain pump guide covers when the pump is the cause, with a range of AED 160 to 340 and 45 to 90 minutes.
  • Door seal. Our door seal guide covers leaks at the door.
  • Inlet valve and filter. Our inlet valve guide covers no-fill faults.
  • Heating element or heat pump. Our heating guide covers a dishwasher that does not heat. Bosch UAE's list names "heat pumps" for dishwashers, and Bosch's own error code pages use both terms, so which part your machine has depends on the model.
  • Racks and spray arms. Our racks and spray arm guide covers when to clean and when to replace.

Our dishwasher page says we carry drain pumps, door seals, inlet valves and latches for popular models, and that model-specific parts such as control modules and heaters are ordered once the fault is confirmed.

Washing machines

Bosch UAE lists doors, hinges and seals, door locks, detergent dispensers, motors, drums, bearings, heating elements, hoses, valves, filters, circuit boards, displays, pressure switches and sensors. Our own repair pages cover several of these: the door lock guide, the carbon brushes guide, and the model guides for Serie 4 and Serie 6.

Our washing machine page puts noisy-drum and bearing work at 2 to 4 hours and AED 380 to 780, the longest and dearest job on that page. Bosch US says loud grinding or knocking that continues may point to worn drum bearings or suspension problems. Ours: for a job this size, confirm the E-Nr before the part is ordered, because a wrong order costs days as well as money.

Ovens

We found no oven spare-parts page on Bosch UAE. The UAE pages we read that touch ovens describe faults, not parts. Bosch New Zealand's oven repair page lists hinges among oven parts and says "Never attempt to repair your oven yourself". Our own guides cover the hinge and door and the thermostat and sensor.

On a built-in oven the plate is usually on the door frame edge, so open the door fully to see it. Our oven page says the full model code tells us which element, fan, sensor and control module your oven was built with, and we order those against the code after the fault is confirmed.

Washer dryers

Bosch UAE's washer-dryer pages we read are thin on parts. We found no washer-dryer parts page on the UAE site. Ours: a washer dryer shares a washing machine's drum, pump and door parts, so the washing machine list above is the nearest guide, and the drying side adds parts of its own that no Bosch UAE page we read names. Our washer-dryer Serie 6 guide covers the model line, and the washer-dryer page covers the faults.

Coffee machines and other appliances

We found no UAE parts pages for these. For coffee machines (see our Bosch coffee machine repair page) and small appliances we repair, the answer is the same: send the E-Nr and photographs, and we say in the written quote whether we can source the part.

What you can sensibly order and fit yourself

Some Bosch parts are made to be replaced by an owner. They clip, slide or lift in and out, and they carry no mains voltage or water pressure.

Racks, baskets and rack wheels

Bosch UAE lists racks, baskets, lids and plastic parts among the dishwasher parts. Bosch UK's rust page for dishwasher racks says "Sometimes the best way to go about a rusty dishwasher rack is to order a replacement", and Bosch UK sells replacement rack wheels online. Racks are the clearest owner-fit case we found in Bosch's own pages. Look the E-Nr up, order the rack or wheel it names, and fit it by following the manual's rack instructions.

One caution from Bosch UK: cutlery rust is "not a fault". A rust spot on the cutlery basket does not mean the dishwasher is failing.

Filters

Drain filters are on Bosch UAE's dishwasher list. A filter that is cracked or will not seat is cheap to replace. For cleaning, our dishwasher filter guide gives the steps.

Spray arms

Spray arms are on Bosch UAE's list, and Bosch UK and Singapore both say that dirt is "by far the most common" cause of a spray arm not spinning, with replacement parts ordered through the spare-parts search. So clean the arm and its nozzles first. If it is cracked, warped or will not turn freely once it is clean, order the arm for your E-Nr. Our racks and spray arm guide covers how to tell the cases apart.

Door seals

Door seals are on both UAE lists. Whether to fit one yourself is a judgement. Bosch's pages we read give no fitting steps, and a seal that is fitted slightly out of place leaks in a way that looks like a failed part. Ours: if the seal is the only cause and your manual shows how it is secured, it is a reasonable owner job. If the door has dropped, a hinge is worn or the leak continues, it is not the seal.

Where the line sits

Ours: the owner-fit parts share three traits. No mains voltage is involved. No panel needs to come off. No water pressure is held by the part. The next section lists the parts that fail those tests.

What to leave to a technician

Bosch's own repair pages say the same thing in different words. Bosch New Zealand's oven page says "Never attempt to repair your oven yourself". Bosch UAE says a faulty temperature regulator is "always a case for the experts". Bosch UK and Singapore say a dishwasher that is not heating at all needs an engineer. Our reasons, part by part:

Part Why we leave it to a technician
Control module or circuit board Mains-connected electronics. A board fitted to a fault that has not been found costs you the board and leaves the fault
Heating element or heat pump Mains-connected and in a wet compartment. Bosch's own pages describe heating faults as technical
Drain pump and circulation pump Behind a panel in most models, with water in the system. Our drain pump guide covers the signs
Inlet valve Sits between the mains water and the machine. A poor fit is a leak risk
Door lock Mains-connected and a safety device. Our door lock guide covers the reset checks that belong to the owner
Motor, brushes and bearings Heavy parts and a tight fit around the drum. Our carbon brushes guide covers when brushes are the cause
Oven sensor, thermostat, fan, element Mains-connected inside a hot cavity

The AquaStop caution, ours

Our inlet valve guide carries a caution that is ours, not Bosch's: do not open or soak the AquaStop block on the supply hose. The block holds a valve meant to stop water if something fails, and Bosch UAE's filter steps do not say how to handle it.

The wrong-part problem

Ours: the main risk of ordering electronic parts yourself is a part that is physically similar and electrically different. Bosch UAE's pages say nothing on returns, so find the seller's terms before you pay.

Ordering through Bosch UAE, step by step

This is what Bosch's UAE pages describe, and nothing more. The order of the steps is ours.

  1. Get the E-Nr. From the type plate, as above. Photograph it.
  2. Search. Type the E-Nr into the search field on the relevant Bosch UAE parts page, or upload a PNG or JPG photo of the plate.
  3. Identify the part. The pages do not describe the lookup results. Ours: expect to match a part by name and by diagram, so note the symptom and the part you think failed before you start.
  4. Contact the centre. Phone 600 522 553, use the contact form, or email the address on the page.
  5. Ask the questions the page does not answer. Is it in stock? What does it cost? How long to deliver? What are the return terms? Ask for the answers in writing.
  6. Keep the reference. Note the date, the name of the person you spoke to and the part number you were given.

If you would rather have the repair done, Bosch UAE says its service experts offer repair, booked by phone. The customer care guide lists each channel and what it is good for.

If a part is not available

If the lookup finds nothing or the contact centre says the part is no longer available, ask whether a superseded part exists, meaning a newer part number that replaces the old one. We cannot say from the UAE pages whether such a replacement exists for any model. For a discontinued part, the realistic options are a compatible part, a used part from the same model, or replacing the appliance. Each has a trade-off. We discuss them before a repair, in the written quote, and we do not fit a substitute without telling you.

What we fit, and what to ask us

We repair Bosch washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, washer dryers and other Bosch home appliances across Dubai. Here is how parts work for us.

Before the visit

Send the E-Nr and FD number from the plate, a photograph of the plate, and a description of the fault. For a code on the display, send the code. We use the E-Nr to check availability where we can, and the same information tells us whether the part is one we carry or one we order. Our dishwasher page says drain pumps, door seals, inlet valves and latches for popular models are carried, and that model-specific parts are ordered after the fault is confirmed. We apply the same approach to the other appliances, and we do not guarantee a part until the fault is confirmed.

At the visit

The inspection is AED 99, which includes the visit, the diagnosis and a written quote. If you approve the repair, the AED 99 comes off the repair price. If you decline, it is all you pay. The quote names the part and its number. We show you the failed part where possible, because that is the quickest way to check that the part was the cause.

On the invoice

The part number appears on the invoice, and so does the 5% VAT as its own line. The repair carries a 90-day warranty on the parts fitted and the labour for the fault we repaired. That warranty ends if the appliance is misused, damaged by a power surge, or opened by someone else.

A worked example

This is an illustration of how the pieces add up, not a quote. Suppose a Bosch dishwasher needs a new drain pump and our written quote, all in, is AED 260, which includes the AED 99 inspection. VAT at 5% is AED 13, so you pay AED 273. If you decline the repair after the inspection, you pay AED 99 plus AED 4.95 VAT, which is AED 103.95. The AED 260 sits inside the AED 160 to 340 range on our dishwasher page for a pump. Your own quote will depend on the model and the fault.

Do you sell parts without fitting?

Our default is that we supply parts as part of a repair, not over the counter. If you only want the part, Bosch UAE's contact centre is the route its own pages describe, and this page explains how to prepare for that call. If you want a second opinion on which part you need, our inspection will tell you, and the quote names the part number so you can compare it with anything you are offered elsewhere.

Mistakes that lead to the wrong part

These come up most often, and each one is avoidable.

  1. Searching by the product's name instead of the E-Nr. "Bosch Serie 6 dishwasher" covers many different machines. The pump, the board and the heater can all differ.
  2. Using a model number from the retailer's listing. Ours: retailers sometimes list a sales code, not the full E-Nr. The plate is the reference.
  3. Matching a part by its look. Two spray arms, pumps or seals can look the same and differ in a connector, a length or a mounting. Ours: that difference is invisible in a photo.
  4. Ordering the part before the fault is confirmed. A dishwasher that does not drain can have a blocked filter, a kinked hose, a failed pump or a board fault. Our error code guides, such as E15, separate those.
  5. Ordering an electronic part to see if it fixes the problem. If the part was not the cause, you have paid for it and the fault remains. Bosch's pages state no return terms.
  6. Skipping the owner checks. Many "part failures" are a blocked filter or a kinked hose. Our guides list the checks to do first.
  7. Not saving the part number. If a fault returns, the number on the invoice is what tells the next technician what was fitted.

Keeping the records

Keep a single note for each appliance: the E-Nr, the FD number, the purchase date, the invoice, and the date and part number of every repair. Bosch's registration page asks for the E-Nr and purchase date, so registering is a convenient way to store them. Our customer care guide links to it.

What the sources leave open

Honesty about gaps is part of the page, so here they are in one place.

  • UAE availability is "up to 15 years" with a footnote, and New Zealand says "at least ten". No source says which figure applies to your model.
  • Whether you can buy online in the UAE is unclear. The page body lists the contact centre, the search description says "online".
  • Prices and delivery are not stated on any Bosch page we read.
  • Ovens, washer dryers and other appliances have no UAE parts page that we found.
  • Return and warranty terms for spare parts are not stated.
  • What "original" means in Bosch UAE's supply chain is not explained.
  • The two phone numbers (600 522 553 and 048030400) both appear on Bosch UAE pages, and which one handles parts is not stated beyond the parts page itself.
  • Third-party sellers. Retailers and marketplaces sell Bosch parts. We have not tested any and do not endorse any. If you buy from one, apply the five questions above.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy genuine Bosch spare parts in Dubai?

Bosch UAE's parts pages say original Bosch spare parts are available and direct you to its contact centre by phone (600 522 553), a contact form or email. The dishwasher page also links to a dealer locator. We found no checkout or retailer list on those pages, so confirm stock and price with the contact centre.

How do I find the right part for my Bosch appliance?

Find the E-Nr on the type plate. Bosch UAE says it starts with three letters and ends with a "/" and two digits. Enter it in the search field on Bosch's parts page, or upload a photo of the plate, then match the part by name and diagram.

Where is the E-Nr on my Bosch washing machine?

Bosch UAE says it is on the type plate, often a sticker inside the door. A caption on the page describes the label as on the bottom, behind the door. Our customer care guide says inside the door opening or on the back panel.

Where is the E-Nr on my Bosch dishwasher?

Bosch UAE says it is on the dishwasher's type plate. Our guide says the edge of the door or the inner side panel when the door is open.

How long are Bosch parts available after a model is discontinued?

Bosch UAE says functional parts are available for up to 15 years after production, as far as functionally relevant and storable. Bosch New Zealand says at least ten years. Neither is a promise for a specific model, so check your own E-Nr.

Are Bosch spare parts in the UAE original?

Bosch UAE's parts pages use the words "Original Bosch spare parts". That is Bosch's wording about its own supply. We do not make the same claim about the parts we fit. We write the part number on your quote and invoice so you can check it.

Do you use original Bosch parts?

We do not describe our parts as original Bosch. The part number appears on your quote and invoice. If the part we quoted is not available, we tell you before fitting a substitute.

Will a part from another Bosch model fit mine?

Not reliably. Bosch appliances that look alike can use different pumps, locks and modules, which is why the lookup asks for the E-Nr. We do not order a model-specific part on a guess.

Can I fit a Bosch part myself?

Some parts are designed for owners, such as dishwasher racks, baskets and rack wheels, and drain filters. Bosch UK sells replacement rack wheels online. Parts that involve mains voltage, water pressure or panel removal belong to a technician.

What if my E-Nr plate is missing or unreadable?

The Bosch pages we read do not cover this. Check the manual, the invoice and any MyBosch registration, and open built-in doors fully to look at the frame. Send us photographs if none of that works, and we will tell you whether we can identify the model.

Does Bosch publish spare-part prices in the UAE?

Not on the pages we read. Bosch's parts pages do not state prices, delivery times, stock levels or return terms. Ask the contact centre in writing.

Do you sell parts without fitting them?

Our default is that we supply parts as part of a repair. If you only want a part, Bosch UAE's contact centre is the route its own pages describe.

Do you charge for the visit if I only need a part identified?

The inspection is AED 99 and is credited to the repair if you go ahead. If you decline, it is all you pay, plus 5% VAT. The quote names the part number.

Book a Bosch repair with the right part

Send us the E-Nr and FD number from the plate, a photograph of the plate and a line on what the appliance does. We confirm a time window and the price range before we set off. Send us a WhatsApp message with the photos, or use the online booking form.
